Pops of colour– The trick to staying on trend and being able to change your interiors can be quite easy and cost effective if you use “pops”of colour throughout your home to entice and add texture. Think cushions, throw rugs, fake pot plants to add greenery, a feature wall painted or use of wallpaper which is very on trend at the moment. Another effective way is to use neutral colours in your kitchen cabinetry and add your “pop” of colour in the splashback.

Raw materials– Think polished concrete floors, raw timber, copper, jute rugs, rope pendant lighting and natural stone. These all add an earthy appearance to your home.

Dark wood– Dark wood and earthy tones are due to make a comeback in 2018. A contrast to the blonde wood that has been in style for the last few years.

Subtle accents–  Pale pink is still very  ïn” and goes well with the grey, whites and blacks. Try to stick to adding textile touches like cushions and throws. Pale blue/aqua is also a beautiful subtle accent that has a lovely cooling effect on the surrounds.
